if (A-B) = pi/4 show that (1+tanA)(1+tanB) = 2tanA

if (A-B) = pi/4 show that (1+tanA)(1+tanB) = 2tanA

make it into A = B + (pi/4)
take tan on both sides, apply tan(A+B) identity
simplify and extract tanA
add tanA to both sides and then factorise
trigonometry identities

    1. note that 45 degrees is the same as (pi/4) in radian measure
      So this is the same as the above question just change (pi/4) to 45 degrees and use tan(45 degrees) =1

  2. Can you give the answer if A+B=45 then prove that (1+cotA) (1+cotB)= 2cotA.cotB
